- Requirement for Client Positions COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION #: N00178-17-T-0016 Submitted by: Suzanne Weber NAICS Code: 334112 FSC Code: 7035 Anticipated Date to be published in FEDBIZOPS: 11 January 2017 Anticipated Closing Date: 18 January 2017 Contracts POC Name: Suzanne Weber Telephone#: 540-653-0178 Email Address: Suzanne.M.Weber@navy.mil Code and Description: 70 - ADP Equipment Software, Supplies and Support Equipment This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis/Solicitation N00178-17-T-0016 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a sole source basis to Advanced Simulation Technology, Inc. (ASTi) is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of this proprietary equipment. It was determined that the usage of another brand would result in significant changes and redesign of this system. This would result in a substantial duplication of costs and would create unacceptable delays. Advanced Simulation Technology, Inc. is located in Herndon, VA. Please include shipping/freight cost to Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12. The order shall be firm fixed price. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. Quote is due 18 January 2017, no later than 12:00 p.m. EST with an anticipated award date by 31 January 2017.
