Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to issue a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 13 to Thermo Electron North America, LLC 5225 Verona Road Bldg 1, Madison, WI 53711-4497. The proposed contract action is for installation and upgrade repair of Noran EDS Detector System in support of Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW). The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available. The NAICS code is 334516 and the applicable business size is 1,000 employees. Interested parties shall submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement via e-mail. Requests must include company name, address, POC name, telephone number, CAGE Code, DUNS number, NAICS code, applicable business size, and Tax ID number.
