- Sources Sought Attachment SPE4A2-17-R0017 INTRODUCTION: DLA Aviation intends to award a sole source, indefinite quantity, long-term contract to Eaton Aeroquip LLC, CAGEs 00624 and 8W928. The contract will include Multiple NSNs for items including Quick Disconnect Coupling Assemblies, Grooved Clamp Couplings, and Self-Sealing Valves that are used on various Weapons Systems including the Assault Breacher Vehicle, M-1 Abrams Tank, HH-60 PAVE Helicopter, Black Hawk Helicopter, and F-15 Eagle Aircraft. Other interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than January 24, 2017. The proposed action is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis as supported by a Justification and Approval (J&A) for Other than Full and Open Competition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The estimated award is June 2018. The anticipated period of performance is five years with a one-year base period and four, one-year option periods. The contract will be awarded with an initial group of 26 NSNs, but may be expanded to include additional sole source items. CONTRACT/PROGRAM BACKGROUND: There is currently an existing five-year, long-term contract with Eaton Aeroquip LLC under Contract Number SPE4AX-13-D-9414 for 40 NSNs which will expire in June 2018. The contract is firm-fixed priced and was issued on an unrestricted basis. DLA Direct Support (Stock Locations) ELIGIBILITY: North American Industry Classification System (NAICS): 332722 (Size Standard: 500 Employees) SUBMISSION DETAILS: Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should be emailed to the Contract Specialist, Alesia Hayes at alesia.hayes@dla.mil no later than January 24, 2017. The maximum length for responses should not exceed two, one sided, 8.5 x 11 inch pages (cover page does not count), font no smaller than 10 point.
