- You are invited to attend an industry day in support of an upcoming paving & underground utilities effort to be solicited in FY17. The construction effort will take place at Military Ocean Terminal Concord (MOTCO), Concord, CA Further details of the effort are attached to this notice. The purpose of this event is to assist the government in evaluating such things as: - Contract Type - Set-aside status - Validation of government estimates for portions of the project - other areas as needed The expected contract value is $5M-$45M. Performance under this effort will be restricted to US Citizens only. Non-citizens are welcome to attend the industry day, but will not be eligible for award, nor allowed to participate in performance of this effort. In order to attend please RSVP via email ONLY to: Bryan Glover Contract Specialist bryan.glover@usace.army.mil RSVP's should include name of attendee, company name, CAGE code, and small business size status and should be received no later than 2PM Pacific Time on 19 Jan 2017. The Industry Day will be held at 10:00am Pacific on 24 Jan 2017. Phone messages will not receive a reply and will not be considered to have RSVP'd Capacity for this event is limited, therefore each firm is limited to participation of 2 people. The discussion is expected to revolve around technical and financial specifics, so we would like to request you firm's attendees be from disciplines capable of engaging in those types of Q&A so that we may maximize the mutual benefit of this event. The location for the event is: 650 Capitol Mall Stanford Conference Room Sacramento, CA 95814 There is security a the entrance to the building so attendees should be prepared to be screened prior to entrance. Late attendees may not be admitted to the event at the discretion of the government. Therefore, attendees should arrive early enough to pass through security prior to 10:00am.
