This effort is for contractor support at the Joint Experimentation and Demonstration Facility (JEDF) at Airpark Ohio in Springfield, OH. SelectTech shall support the JEDF in creating a safe, secure, and lawful environment for collaborative experimentation events. Additionally, the required services will include pre-event studies, related research activities, post even analysis, research and development, stakeholder actions, and follow-up activities to support advanced demonstration and operational results. They have the communication construct and infrastructure to enable field experiments to happen within the next four months. A request for quotation is expected to be issued in January 2017. Anticipated award date is 24 Feb 17. The resultant task order will be Time and Materials with a one-year period of performance. During the one-year period of performance, if the Government determines that the contractor support is required beyond the task order end date, the next iteration of support is expected to be solicited competitively. The authority for this sole source action is FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized.
