Description

SYNOPSIS: The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract to Joseph Murphy Construction (SDVOSB,) 7610 National Drive, Livermore, CA 94550, for roofing services at Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS,) Menlo Park Division. The contractor shall provide all supervision, administrative and technical support, labor, subcontractors, tools, transportation, materials, supplies and equipment, planning, scheduling, and effective completion of the roof repair contract. The project includes removal, disposal and replacement of 2,000 square feet of built-up roofing material, in accordance with the statement of work, drawings and specifications. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 238160 (Roofing Contractors) with a small business size standard of $15 million. Questions may be submitted in writing by email to angela.oppenheimer@va.gov. This is the only acceptable method for submitting questions. No telephone questions will be accepted, and no questions will be accepted after January 24th, 2017. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
