Documentation includes: 1) ProTech Enterprise Operations Industry Day Agenda 2) ProTech Enterprise Operations Industry Presentation Power Point Slides 3) ProTech Enterprise Operations Industry Day Attendees List 4) ProTech Enterprise Operations Industry Day Webinar Attendees List ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update #2 The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is hosting an Industry Day / Pre-Solicitation Conference in support of the Professional and Technical (Pro-Tech) Services Branch Enterprise Operations Domain scheduled for Wednesday, January 11, 2017. (Details are found upon conclusion of this posted update). AGO’s primary objective with the Industry Day event is to provide a forum to better communicate the Line and Staff Offices’ requirements and increase competition by sharing information. A secondary objective of the pre-solicitation conference is to provide a presentation of elements found within the posted Statement of Work (SOW) draft Pro-Tech’s Enterprise Operations Domain provides the necessary administrative support (other than Information Technology) to the Line and Staff offices throughout NOAA. Services under this domain include program management services, financial management services, human resources support, and other general administrative support. These services do not require formal scientific or technical expertise or education as relevant within Pro-Tech’s scientific and technical domains (i.e., Satellite, Fisheries, Weather and Ocean). The clientele base for the Enterprise Operations Domain consists of NOAA Staff and Line Offices and Department of Commerce (DOC) bureaus. The Pro-Tech procurement requirement will be unrestricted as to business size with a majority of contracts reserved for small businesses at the IDIQ Contract level and as permissible in accordance with section 1331 of the U.S. Jobs Act. The NAICS code designated for this Full and Open competitive requirement is: 541611. Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services with a Small Business Size Standard: $15,000,000.00. If you are a large business and your proposal will exceed $700,000, you will be required to submit a subcontracting plan with specified goals for small business concerns. For the purposes of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its average annual gross revenue, taken for the last 3 completed fiscal years, does not exceed $15,000,000.00. AGO – Pro-Tech Industry Day Event Details (January 11, 2017) NOAA's Acquisition and Grants Office will host a Pro-Tech Enterprise Operations Industry Day on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm EST at the NOAA Auditorium and Science Center, 1301 East-West Highway, Silver Spring, Maryland 20910. Registration: To register for this event, please copy/paste within your web browser the following link and complete form: https://docs.google.com/a/noaa.gov/forms/d/1zGM9UzDAjm6R751mHozueivVRn3wiwY1MEZ_NOYgj-M/edit?usp=sharing Facility Parking: The NOAA Auditorium is located approximately one block from the Silver Spring Metro station. Visitors will need to pay for their parking in nearby onsite public parking garages. There is NO parking validation. Public garages are full approximately by 8:00 a.m. EST Monday - Friday. Towing is enforced for all surrounding businesses. Participants are strongly encouraged to use Metrorail (Red Line) or bus services as there is limited parking in the area. For these alternative local transportation options, please visit www.wmata.com and for the MARC Train information at https://mta.maryland.gov/marc-train Security Requirements for Industry Day Attendees: All auditorium attendees and participants will need to present valid government-issued ID. To determine which identification is deemed valid, please visit: https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/identification Visitors are encouraged to arrive at least 30-45 minutes prior to event time for the security and registration process. Sign-in for participants who have pre-registered will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 in the Auditorium hallway and it is strongly encouraged for participants to arrive early to process through the security checkpoint. Webinar Attendance: For those choosing to participate via webinar, registration information for the webinar can also be found in the above link. The webinar is limited to 100 open lines. If we reach that capacity, we will close the webinar to further registrants. Online registration will close at 4:00 p.m. EST on January 6, 2017. However, if seating is available you may be able to appear as a “walk-in” upon indication of auditorium’s capacity by 8:55 a.m. EST on January 11, 2017. Walk-in visitors that have not pre-registered may experience delays before access to the event is granted. Government and military CAC holders are not required to have an escort, but are still encouraged to register prior to Industry Day. Additional Information : Please note that food or drink is prohibited within the Auditorium. Participants are also advised that charging stations for phones or computers will not be available. Participation at this event is not required for eligibility to make an offer should this requirement result in a solicitation.
