Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE REPRESENTING A MARKET SURVEY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS OR INVITATION FOR BIDS. The Department of Veterans Affairs (NCO 08), Tampa FL. is conducting a MARKET RESEARCH to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB),small business sources; HUB Zone 8(a), Women-Owned, or small disadvantaged business concerns; and their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 339113 (Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing). Manufactured by X-Spine Note: Due to large number of items being requested, attachment A is provided for item descriptions and quantities. This "Sources Sought Notice" is to determine verified SDVOSB/VOSB sources for X-Spine surgical Instruments. The Veterans Administration is required by Public Law 109-461 to provide first priority to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) concerns. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Interested parties submitting a response to this inquiry must include the following information: name and address of company; business category ( i.e SDVOSB, VOSB or Small Business) and any pertinent information, which demonstrates firm s ability to meet the requirement. James A. Haley anticipates the award of a single firm fixed price contract. Please do not call or leave voice messages. NOTE: Any future solicitation could only be awarded to a contractor who is registered in System for Award Management (SAM). To receive award based on SDVOSB or VOSB status must be registered and verified in VetBiz Registry. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement will be published on the FBO website. Interested individuals shall provide a capability statement, to include complete address, phone & fax number of contact.
