Description

Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center in Saginaw, MI. 48602 is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price contract to provide off-site Sterilization processing services, NAICS Code 532490, size standard $32.5 million. The Government intends, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) (2) (contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available), to negotiate on a sole source basis with Mackinaw Surgery Center (5400 Mackinaw Rd., Ste. 2200, Saginaw, MI 48604). The Contractor shall provide off-site Sterilization processing services for the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center in Saginaw, MI for the period of 12 months after the Date of Award plus two 6 month option periods in strict accordance with the statement of work, all schedules, and terms and conditions of the resultant contract. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received NLT 9:00 am Eastern time on 01/25/2017. No telephonic inquiries or e-mail responses will be accepted. All responses must be emailed to michelle.ford2@va.gov
