- This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested. The Government intends to award a fixed price purchase order to iba Solutions, Gottingen, Germany. The Department of Transfusion (DTM) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center (CC), Bethesda, MD has a requirement to procure the services listed below: 1.Catalog Number:6-8000-999 Description:CD8+ CD62L+ CD45RA-Tcm Fabstreptamer Isolation Kit MB, 5x, human Quantity:10 each The Cell Processing Section (CPS) is responsible for the manufacture of human cells and tissue-based products utilized in phase I/II clinical protocols for transplantation, adoptive immunotherapy and gene therapy conducted in the Clinical Center at the NIH. Cell processing procedures are tailored to each of the 30 or more different patient-care clinical research protocols supported. Also, regarding institute research support it: •Develops biologics collection and manufacturing processes to support clinical trials collects, manufactures and distribute blood components for in vitro research use Collaboration in the design, planning, execution and data analysis of clinical studies Collects and manufacture specialized cellular products to support clinical trials. Develops and evaluate assays for Clinical application and biologics safety testing and cellular characterization. •A newly approved clinical trial that will be conducted in CPS will require this reagent. Without the specified Streptamers, CPS will not be able to continue with these studies as there are currently no other alternative companies that offer this reagent, or anything like this reagent. The Streptamers are needed for the isolation of naïve T-cells to transduction with CD19 chimeric antigen receptor.
