- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13 and Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued (formal solicitation will be attached to this notice). This requirement is to procure pontoon track components with necessary warranty for the Long Reach 325 Heavy Duty Swamp Excavator for Fort Mifflin located in Philadelphia, PA. A list of items are listed in the solicitation. The contractor shall deliver to US Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Mifflin, 6400 Hog Island Road, Philadelphia, Pa 19153. Final acceptance will be conducted at this site. The contractor shall deliver within 30 days. The solicitation number for this acquisition is W912BU-17-T-0009 and is issued as an Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation will be issued on 19 January 2017 with a closing date of or about 03 February 2017 at 1400 hours. Hard copies will not be available and written or fax requests will not be accepted. The official media of distribution for this RFP is the web. Contractors may download the solicitation (including any drawings) and any amendments via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) web site at www.fbo.gov, on or after the issue date. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the FedBizOpps web site for any amendments. Interested firms must register at FedBizOpps in order to access the solicitation. Offerors are responsible for printing copies of the RFP and any amendments. If there are any amendments to this requirement, all amendments must be acknowledged, signed, and electronically submitted with your proposal at time of proposal due date. All offers are to be submitted electronically to Adam Bryson at Leslie.A.Bryson@usace.army.mil. Please carbon copy Justin Chung at justin.chung@usace.army.mil. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in affect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-92. Clauses and Provisions are available on line at http://farsite.hill.af.mil. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set Aside; the NAICS code is 333249 with a size standard of 500 employees. Award will be made in accordance with FAR part 14. All contractors are required to be registered in the DOD System for Award Management by award (SAM) before award as required by FARS 4.605. Also, firms who receive a federal contract in excess of $25,000.00 are required by legislation to submit an annual VETS-100 Report on your employment of targeted veterans.
