PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY: SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED ON OR ABOUT FEBRUARY 1, 2017. THE DUE DATE FOR OFFERS IS EXPECTED TO BE ON OR ABOUT FEBRUARY 22, 2017 BUT WILL BE CONFIRMED WHEN THE SOLICITATION IS ISSUED. The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Region-6 Contracting North intends to solicit for janitorial services for Forks, Washington office, located on the Pacific Ranger District of the Olympic National Forest in western Clallam County, northwestern Washington State. The Awardee shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals necessary to successfully complete performance of the awarded contract as provided in the text of the upcoming solicitation document, except those items, if any, listed as Government-furnished property. The term of the contract is expected to be April 1, 2017 through March 31, 2022, a Base Year plus 4 Option Years. Each year's Period of Performance is expected to be April 1 - March 31. The commercial item solicitation will provide complete specifications and requirements for technical capability and demonstrated proficiency via experience and past performance in order to meet the project's performance parameters. All responsible sources meeting the small business size standard may submit a quote which will be considered by the Government.
