- Description
- *********Amendment on January 19, 2019 provdes the following: This amendment is to provide clarification pertaining to information provided in the amendment dated December 20, 2016: The Government stated "Updated or new information developed after January 31, 2017 (or after facility meetings/white papers) will be accepted prior to the estimated completion date (ECD) of the Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) provided the analysis is ongoing. The AoA ECD is expected in April 2018." Clarification: The intent of the verbiage is to allow industry an easy forum to provide additional data without having to wait for further requests (RFIs) from the Government. For example, if flight tests or component level tests are completed and the vendor feels that it is important for the Government to have insight, then the Government would like for vendor to please submit change pages updating their previous RFI submittal. In addition, face-to-face discussions are encouraged and can be requested along with RFI submittals. The US Government request that all submittals be sent to the following mailing address: Army Contracting Command - Redstone Sparkman Circle, Bldg 5304 2nd Floor, Room 4249 (ATTN: CCAM-BHC, Billy Gravitt, Phone: 256-842-7051) Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898 Or you may submit your response via AMRDEC Safe site. The web address is https://safe.amrdec.army.mil/safe/Welcome.aspx. ******* Amendment on December 20, 2016 provides the following: The United States Government hereby extends the submittal date for responses from January 18, 2017 to January 31, 2017. Updated or new information developed after January 31, 2017 (or after facility meetings/white paper presentations) will be accepted prior to the estimated completion date (ECD) of the Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) provided the analysis is ongoing. The AoA ECD is expected in April 2018. ****** Amendment on December 15, 2016 provides the following: The United States Government (USG) is providing clarification to potential offerors in regards to the amendment dated December 12, 2016. Please note that respondents may submit a formal response as well as host USG personnel at their facility to present updated information in either briefing or white paper format. ***** Amendment on December 12, 2016 provides the following: The United States Government (USG) is to conduct the Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) using the most up-to date information available and believes responses to the Request for Information (RFI) are critical to informing the alternatives to be used in the Future Vertical Lift (FVL) AoA. As such, the USG is extending the RFI response date by two weeks from January 4, 2017 to January 18, 2017 for interim response of data available. The interim responses will enable the USG to begin work on Performance and Operational Effectiveness modeling for the Study Advisory Group scheduled in January 2017. In lieu of a formal response, Respondents that have elected to host USG personnel at their facility may present updated information in either briefing or white paper format at these meetings. Updated or new information/data developed after these meetings will be accepted for use in the AoA provided the Analysis is ongoing (AoA estimated completion date (ECD) is April 2018). *** Amendment on 23 November 2016, provides answers to all questions submitted from RFI amendment dated 24 October 2016. Please see attachment for questions and answers. The RFI closing date remains unchanged. Please see the attached PDF document for the Future Vertical Lift (FVL) Capability Set #3 Request for Information (RFI). *Amendments on 23 Feb 2016 was issued in error. No change with these two amendments. *Amendment on 7 March 2016 changes the verbiage in Section 7.0 of the RFI to remove the requirement for the NDA(s) and the primary communication for questions. *Amendment on 14 March 2016 addresses all questions submitted for this RFI. Please see attachment for questions and answers.
