Description

STATEMENT OF WORK GENERAL INFORMATION Title of Project: Two High Voltage Electricians Scope of Work: Procurement of two high voltage electricians to work high voltage electrical switch gear at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Northport VAMC, 79 Middleville Road, Northport NY 11768. Background: This is a request to please expedite the processing of transaction no. 632-17-2-6044-0143. This transaction is for the procurement of two high voltage electricians to work the high voltage electrical switch gear. The work cannot be performed by Northport VAMC Electricians as the Northport VAMC Electricians are not qualified to perform work on high voltage electrical systems. High voltage is considered to be anything over 600 volts. The work that is to be performed by the two high voltage electricians with included but is not limited to: Install Computed Tomography (CT) Scanner No. 2. The construction contractor will require the services of two high voltage electricians to work the high voltage switch gear B. CHANGES TO STATEMENT OF WORK Any changes to this SOW shall be authorized and approved only through written correspondence from the Contracting Officer. A copy of each change will be kept in a COR folder along with all other required documents. Costs incurred by the contractor through the actions of parties other than the Contracting Officer shall be borne by the contractor. C. CONTRACTOR PERSONNEL SECURITY REQUIREMENTS The vendor shall not have access to the Department of Veterans Affairs computer systems. The certification and accreditation (C&A) requirements do not apply and a Security Accreditation Package is not required. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 238210. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing via email at desiree.flores@va.gov and must be received not later than January 24, 2017, COB EST. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Interested firms should also add their information to the interested vendors list for this announcement at www.fbo.gov. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification//socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 238210. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should include company/individual name, a service capability statement, examples of similar facilities for which you have provided services to, DUNS number, address, point of contact and social-economic category (ex: SBVOSB, VOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, EDWOSB, Small Business). If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). Contractor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM), formerly CCR (see internet site: http://www.sam.gov). Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing via email at desiree.flores@va.gov and received not later than January 24, 2017, COB EST.
