Description
Synopsis posted 1-19-17 Marine Corps Installations East- Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune has a requirement for a non-personal services contract for the repair and maintenance of Government owned automatic, heavy duty type, electric washers and dryers located in Government facilities aboard Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune and its satellite activities. The resultant requirements contract will be for the period of 28 February 2017 (or date of award, whichever is later), through 27 February 2018 (or one year from date of award), plus two one-year priced-out option periods. Proposed acquisition will be is 100% HUBZone set-aside. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 811412 Appliance Repair and Maintenance, and the small business size standard is $15 million. The Government will solicit and award this contract using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR subpart 13.5. The Government intends to award to the quoter who represents the best value to the government. Award will be issued on an all or none basis. Scope of Requirement: a) Corrective maintenance/ repairs, selective annual cleaning of associated dryer ducting/vents, and the installation/relocation/removal of Government owned washers and dryers: approximately 3,000 automatic, heavy duty type top load washers, 40 front load washers, 100 washer/dryer combos, 2,303 single dryers, and 1,000 double stacked dryer pairs, located in about 220 barracks located at MCB Camp Lejeune, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River, Camp Geiger, Camp Johnson, Courthouse Bay and Stone Bay, North Carolina. Included within these quantities are new (not installed) machines that are stored in building 1212, and new machines to be placed on order and received/stored in building 1212 MCB Camp Lejeune that may become available for installation during the execution of this contract. b) Installation of Government Owned machines in barracks currently under renovation with no machines in place - currently about five (5) barracks for Fiscal Year (FY) 2017. Plans for FY 2018, 2019, and 2020 are not available at this time; c) Removal of machines from barracks to be renovated. About two (2) scheduled for FY 2017. Plans for FY 2018, 2019, and 2020 are not available at this time. d) Annually, 10% - 15% of the Government Owned machines in the barracks and select additional facilities are planned to be selectively replaced, requiring removal and then installation of the Government Owned machines, and then the designation of selective machines to be recycled or disposed. The solicitation will contain the complete Performance Work Statement (PWS). Government Request for Quote (RFQ), M67001-17-Q-0018, to provide this service will be issued on or around 23 January 2017. The solicitation will be available for download via the electronic data interchange at FedBizOpps, www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the responsibility of the quoter to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments.
