Pre-Solicitation Notice VA69D-17-B-0426 Project: CLC Road Loop Final Wear Course Project Number: 695-16-113 Location: Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision in accordance with construction documents, drawings and specifications to complete Project 695-16-113, CLC Road Loop Final Wear Course, at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, Milwaukee WI. Work included, but not limited to: Professional Survey before and after site work. Repair curb and gutter and sidewalks indicated on drawings. Repair/modify buried storm water utilities, including piping and catch basins, where shown on drawings. Site work includes excavation, removal of unsuitable fill, drainage piping, backfilling and compaction, concrete (sidewalk, curb and gutter, catch basin repairs), asphalt (pavement removal and replacement with new), asphalt milling, asphalt leveling course application, specified underlayment, tack coat, and final wear course application. Asphalt curb replacement is also required. Traffic Control measures during work. Restore landscaped areas disturbed by work. The project magnitude price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 28990 (All Other Specialty Trade Contractors), Size Standard: $15.0 million The project is scheduled to have a period of performance of three hundred and sixty-five (365) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued by the Contracting Officer. The solicitation (including any/all specifications and drawings) is scheduled to be posted to FedBizOpps (https://www.fbo.gov/) on or about February 6, 2017, with the bid opening on or about March 8, 2017. Bidders are responsible for monitoring and downloading any amendments from FedBizOpps which may be issued to this solicitation. A pre-bid conference/site walk-through will be conducted for this project. The date and time of this conference/walk-through will be included in the solicitation. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation will be issued as a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. In order to be considered for award, the contractor shall be CVE-Verified as an SDVOSB vendor in https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov by the date and time specified for receipt of bids. No other sources will be considered. All interested parties shall have a current registration and current annual On-line Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA) in the System Award Management (SAM) database https://www.sam.gov prior to award.
