Description
Statement of Work - UF-56 & UF-57 - DRAFT Statement of Work - UF-34 - DRAFT INFORMATION FOR POTENTIAL OFFERORS The Regional Maintenance Center at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF), Bremerton, Washington intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price, stand-alone contract in support of the accomplishment of maintenance, repair, and preservation of three (3) Utility Floats (UF). UF-34 is 60' in length, 30'0" in width, and 5' in height. It weighs about 50.4 long tons and has a draft of 1.1'. The hull type is steel. Contractors' facility must possess the capability of accommodating one (1) UF-34 with the dimensions as stated above. UF-56 is 21' in length and 7' in width. It weighs about 4 tons and has a draft of 2'. The hull type is steel pontoon. Contractors' facility must possess the capability of accommodating one (1) UF-56 with the dimensions as stated above. UF-57 is 21' in length and 7' in width. It weighs about 4 tons and has a draft of 2'. The hull type is steel pontoon. Contractors' facility must possess the capability of accommodating one (1) UF-57 with the dimensions as stated above. The contractor will take delivery of the UF-34 from PSNS & IMF Bremerton, WA and transport it to the contractor's facility. Upon completion of all work, the contractor will return the vessel to the Government at PSNS & IMF Bremerton, WA. The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and insurance bonds necessary for the period that the vessel is located at the contractor's repair facility. The contractor will take delivery of UF-56 and UF-57 from PSNS & IMF Bremerton, WA and transport them to the contractor's facility. Upon completion of all work, the contractor will return the vessels to the Government at PSNS & IMF Bremerton, WA. The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and insurance bonds necessary for the period that the vessel is located at the contractor's repair facility. The expected Period of Performance is 8 May 2017 through 28 July 2017. The Government is contemplating a 100% small business set-aside under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 336611, whose size is 1,250 employees or less. The Government intends to post a request for proposals on or about February 17, 2017 and anticipates award of the Firm-Fixed Price, stand-alone contract on or about April 24, 2017 to the responsible contractor on a lowest price, technically acceptable basis in accordance with, but not limited to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.101-2. Offerors can view and/or download the draft notional work specification for review at https://www.fbo.gov. All offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) to receive award of Government contracts. Offerors are advised also that SAM representations and certifications can be completed electronically via the System for Award Management website at http://www.sam.gov. Notice Regarding Pre-Solicitation Synopsis: Information provided shall be treated as Business Sensitive or Confidential to the responder, exempt from public release under the Freedom of Information Act. PSNS & IMF may request further information regarding the capabilities of respondents to meet the requirements set forth in the announcement. This pre-solicitation announcement is released in accordance with FAR 5.2. Information provided in response to this pre-solicitation announcement is for informational and planning purposes only, will not be considered an offer by the responding contractor and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
