- THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: This is not a request for either a quote or proposal. This announcement is considered market research in accordance with FAR Part 10. The Maryland Air National guard is seeking potential and eligible business firms that are capable of providing Project Management - Military Construction (MILCON). The services to be provided include managing MILCON/AE projects, resolve code violations, and provide guidance for future projects to ensure code adherence. Provide code (i.e. Unified Facilities Code, locally recognized building codes, safety codes) evaluations for existing facilities and of A-E design submittals, Provide construction project management and oversight services on awarded contracts and task order identified by the BCE. Review inspector reports and documentation on MILCON construction projects to ensure quality products are being provided to the government. Report results to the COR for review by the BCE. Maintain accurate project folders with appropriate supporting documentation, including technical documentation, specifications, and field notes. Process submittals documents and other contract documentation by verifying that they meet the established specifications; submit to the COR and the BCE/KO. Review "Requests for Information" from the Contractor and prepare responses for the BCE/COR/KO approval. Provide technical analysis and input to the BCE/COR on engineering issues associated with the projects and prepare documentation within three days of discovery for the BCE/COR and other duties as assigned. The results of this Sources Sought will be utilized to determine if any Small Business Set-aside opportunities exist. All Small Business Set-aside categories will be considered. Responses to this Request for Information (RFI) are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This RFI is for market research purposes only. Any information submitted is at the company's own expense. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of capability statements in connection with the market survey. Any information provided is voluntary. All interested businesses are encouraged to respond via email to the usaf.md.175-wg.list.msc@ang.af.mil with the following information: Company name and address, point of contact with phone number, DUNS number and Cage Code and Social Economic Status. No faxes will be accepted.
