Solicitation: P17PS00414 Requirement: Sewer Pumps (with Installation) BICY Set Aside: 100% Small Business Offer Due Date: Wednesday, February 15, 2017, 10:00am ET Solicitation P17PS00414 is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included here. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-95. SET-ASIDE: The primary North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 333318 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. This project is set-aside 100 percent for small businesses under applicable NAICS code. YOUR SAM RECORD MUST REFLECT THAT YOUR COMPANY IS SMALL UNDER NAICS CODE 333318. DELIVERY LOCATION: Big Cypress National Preserve, Ochopee, FL 31414 PAST PERFORMANCE: Your company must not be excluded from conducting business with the federal government or be delinquent on a federal debt. SITE VISIT: A site visit is scheduled for Monday, February 6, 2017 at Big Cypress National Preserve, 33100 Tamiami Trail E, Ochopee, FL 34141 at 10:30am. If interested in installation sites, you are encouraged to attend.. REQUIREMENT: This project is to supply and install 15 sewer pumps, 10 at 120v / 1 single 230v / 2 duplex 230v complete grinder pumps capable of macerating all material in normal domestic and commercial sewage, including reasonable amounts of foreign objects such as sanitary napkins, disposable diapers, thin rubber, small wood, plastic and the like to a fine slurry that easily pass through the pump and the discharge pipe. They currently have E/One 2000 Extreme and need in like or the equal that will retrofit directly into Environment One (E/One) grinder pump stations with extreme connection style. If equivalent is supplied it shall install easily and include all piping and electrical connections. Built with a centrifugal grinder pump featuring heavy duty design with a silicon carbide hard faced mechanical seal, the Retro can easily process the material found in wastewater and has a long life expectancy. This Retro will replaces the entire core of the existing grinder pump station and allows for maximum strength using a centrifugal pump. Pumps & installation to include: - Centrifugal grinder pump - Stainless steel internal piping and candy cane discharge pipe - Check / anti-siphon valve - Lifting rope - (2) Floats for on/off and alarm - Fiberglass junction box with electrical adaptor - Include any and all new wiring and or control boxes - Retrofitable with installed Environment One station pumps - All parts in the Retrofit Kit are replaceable allowing for fast and easy maintenance - Direct connection to existing station piping connection - Direct connection to existing station wiring harness - Capable of grinding domestic sewage in individual residential applications OPERATING CONDITIONS: The pumps shall be capable of delivering 15 GPM against a rated total dynamic head of 0 feet (0 PSIG), 11 GPM against a rated total dynamic head of 92 feet (40 PSIG), and 7.8 GPM against a rated total dynamic head of 185 feet (80 PSIG). The pump(s) must also be capable of operating at negative total dynamic head without overloading the motor(s). Under no conditions shall in-line piping or valving be allowed to create a false apparent head. WARRANTY: The grinder pump MANUFACTURER shall provide a part(s) and labor warranty on the complete station and accessories, including, but not limited to, the panel for a period of 24 months after notice of OWNER ¿S acceptance, but no greater than 27 months after receipt of shipment. Any manufacturing defects found during the warranty period will be reported to the MANUFACTURER by the OWNER and will be corrected by the MANUFACTURER at no cost to the OWNER. OFFER DUE DATE: The date that offers are due is February 15, 2017 at 10:00am ET. Your quote must be valid for at least 60 days. Email offers to Mary_Stefanos@nps.gov. No oral or late questions will be accepted. OFFER FORMAT: You can put your quote on the provided Standard Form 1449 or your own form, as long as you address each line item. Make sure your quote has the total price, your DUNS number, acknowledges any amendments and contains complete contact information. If using the SF 1449, ensure that blocks 17a (including DUNS) and pricing in blocks 23 and 24 along with blocks 30a, 30b and 30c are filled in before emailing. Make sure to include product details of proposed pumps. SUBMITTING A QUOTE: Offers must be submitted via email to Mary_Stefanos@nps.gov. Obtain emailed confirmation of offer. Offers must acknowledge receipt of any/all solicitation amendments and include all required information mentioned above. The offeror bears full responsibility for on-time delivery of the quote to the Contracting Officer; there will be no relief given for undelivered emails that aren't received in time. BASIS FOR AWARD: NPS will select the quote(s) that represents the best overall value to the government. EVALUATION OF QUOTES: Quotes will be evaluated using the procedures set forth in FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
