- Description
- Mathews Arm Rehabilitate Water System - Shenandoah National Park. The pre-solicitation notice of this acquisition was posted December 2, 2016. The Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Washington Contracting Office, is soliciting proposals on a full and open basis to all firms capable of performing the work described in the solicitation. Solicitation documents are attached to this notice. Paper copies of the solicitation and associated documents will not be made available. Instructions for proposal submission are included in Section L of the solicitation. Evaluation Criteria are included in Section M of the solicitation. The NPS intends to award a Firm Fixed Price type contract as a result of the solicitation. If awarded, award will be made to the offeror whose proposal represents the lowest priced technically acceptable offer. Prospective Offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management website and complete representations and certifications at www.sam.gov. The solicitation will be posted to fbo.gov and fedconnect.net all related documents will be posted to fedconnect.net. It is the contractor's responsibility to check the government point of entry daily for any changes to the solicitation. The NAICS code is 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. This project is subject to Davis Bacon Act wages. The estimated period of performance is 210 days. There will be a site visit January 11, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.(4 wheel drive full size pickup is required to access site, meet at trailer sewage disposal gate- see drawing sheet C4). Contractors must offer their most advantageous/best proposal no later than 5:00 p.m. ET January 26, 2017. Offers not received by the suspense date/time will not be considered for evaluation or award. The estimated price magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
