Description
The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a sole source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) order to Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, AZ for repair of repairable efforts for the Joint Standoff Weapon (JSOW). It is anticipated the resultant order will be cost plus fixed fee. The work performed under this effort consists of (a) engineering and technical support to investigate, analyze, test, study and resolve technical issues to repair ten All-Up-Rounds (AUR) and (b) provide all program management, systems engineering and administrative support to execute the aforementioned tasks and provide a monthly status report to PMA 201 JSOW APML. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. RMS is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer for the JSOW and as such is the only company that has the requisite knowledge, technical expertise, production tooling facilities and technical data necessary to meet this requirement. This notice is published for information purposes only and is not a request for competitive proposals. However, responsible interested parties may submit a capability statement in which they identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider all information received by February 7 th, 2017. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
