Description

Please note this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. The Government is seeking information strictly for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue a solicitation document. The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center (RLR VAMC) in Indianapolis, Indiana is conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing on-site interventional radiology physician services. Applicable NAICS Code 621111 applies with a size standard of $11.0M and prospective quoters must be registered in the Systems for Award Management System (SAM). Responses to this source sought notice must be submitted in writing and received no later than Noon EST, Friday, January 27, 2017. No telephone inquiries will be accepted or returned. A brief description of work to be performed includes the following: Contractor must provide board-certified on-site interventional radiology (IR) physician services to include at least one physician to be credentialed, privileged, and available for scheduling to meet the requirements of the resultant contract. Contractor personnel must be experienced and qualified to provide the following Radiology procedures: angiography; balloon angioplasty/stent placement; chemoembolization/Y90 Therapy; cholecystostomy; drain insertions; embolization; thrombolysis; biopsy; radiofrequency ablation; endovenous laser ablation of varicose veins; cyroablation; line insertion; IVC filters; vertebroplasty; nephrostomy placement; radiologically inserted gastrostomy; dialysis access and related interventions; TIPS placement, and biliary intervention. The RLR VAMC has a need for contractor personnel to provide on-site IR services during the following time periods: (1) March 06, 2017 through March 24, 2017; (2) April 03, 2017 through April 07, 2017; (3) April 17, 2017 through April 21, 2017; (4) May 01, 2017 through May 19, 2017; and (5) May 30, 2017 through June 30, 2017. Responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is NOT currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on the FBO website at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to the solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
