- This combined synopsis/solicitation is for a firm-fixed-price contract for apheresis services at the Boston VA Healthcare System. In accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) the place of performance will be at the following facilities: Boston VA Healthcare System West Roxbury VA Campus 1400 VFW Parkway West Roxbury, MA 02132 Or Boston VA Healthcare System Brockton VA Campus 940 Belmont Street Brockton, MA 02301 The intended result of the solicitation will be to award a twelve month base contract with four 12-month option periods. The contractor shall furnish all necessary supplies and qualified competent personnel to perform the service as specified within the SOW. The solicitation is in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The North American industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 621991 and the small business size is $32.5 million. This procurement is unrestricted, therefore open to all interested parties. The Contractor shall adhere to all federal and state laws and regulations in effect during the term of this contract. The procurement is subject to the availability of funds. The solicitation will be posted to www.fbo.gov. Any amendments or additional information issued to this solicitation will also be available at the FBO website. Quoters are responsible for obtaining any and all amendments or additional information. The closing date for the receipt of quotations is Friday, February 17, 2017, at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Quoters must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to contract award in order to be considered for award. See https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ to register. All correspondence or questions may be submitted via email to Suzanna Smith, Contract Specialist, at Suzanna.Smith@va.gov with "VA241-17-Q-0113 Apheresis Services" in the subject line. Submissions of quotations shall be evaluated based on technical capability, past performance, socioeconomic status, and price. The quoter shall describe experience with performing apheresis services and how they will provide the services listed within the solicitation.
