- Solicitation Number S-LE200-17-Q-0001 – Gasoline and Diesel Oil Supplies for the U.S. Embassy Beirut, Lebanon The U.S. Embassy Beirut, Lebanon has a requirement for a firm to provide gasoline and diesel oil to the Embassy compound at Awkar, Metn. The estimated number of liters per year for gasoline is 600,000 and the estimated number of liters per year for diesel is 400,000; these are only estimated quantities. The anticipated performance is for one base year starting on June 1, 2017 and ending on May 31, 2018 and four one-year periods at the option of the US Government. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 5.207. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
