Page 3 of 3 Page 3 of 3 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number VA250-17-Q-0249, in accordance with FAR Parts 12.603 and 13.5. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED and a written solicitation will not be issued. Awards resulting from the (RFQ) will be based on Best Value to the Department of Veterans Affairs giving consideration to: Technical, Delivery, and Price. This acquisition is a Small Disadvantage Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside. This is a Brand Name or Equal Requirement and will be awarded on all-or-none basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339113, and has a size standard of 750 employees. The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC), 2005-95, effective January 19-2017. The Government intends to award Firm-Fixed Price. BACKGROUND: The Cleveland Vet Center has a requirement for tables and chairs for their lobby, conference room, group rooms and staff offices. The Vet Center has a requirement for seating that provides ergonomic support for the user and ensures comfort without losing elasticity or shape for the lifetime of the products. Veterans have to sit for a minimum of 1 hours and as long as 2 hours. Comfort and durability are first concern. SCOPE: The Contractor shall receive, inspect, and inventory the privacy curtains at their own warehouse. Installation shall be at the Eastside Vet Center, 5310 ½ Warrensville Center Road, Maple Heights, OH 44137 in accordance with the terms and conditions stated herein. Contractor shall coordinate delivery and installation with the staff at the facility. Contractor shall deliver each piece of furniture to the correct office /room, uncrating, assembling and installing. Contractor shall remove all crating trash and debris associated with the delivery/install from the VA property. Contractor shall be responsible for general cleaning of all product installed for removal of dust and other packing materials.
