- The Department of Veterans Affairs is pleased to announce the release of the attached request for quote (RFQ) for semi-annual boiler tune-ups at VA Medical Center Wilmington, 1601 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE 19805. The RFQ is set-aside for service-disabled, veteran-owned, small business concerns. See VAAR clause 852.219-10 VA Notice of Total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Please e-mail the quote to Mr. John Evans at john.evans15@va.gov no later than 9:00 AM Eastern on 07 February 2017. Please contact Mr. Robert Minner at 302-633-5276 or at robert.minner@va.gov if you require a site visit. Please prepare your quote consistent with FAR provision 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items in paragraph E.1 of the RFQ. Note the following: Offers shall be submitted on the SF 1449; Provide evidence that vendor is certified to service Cleaver-Brooks Boilers; Complete the Price/Cost Schedule in Section B; Provide a competed copy of the representations and certifications at FAR 52.212-3; and Provide Past performance information to include three recent and relevant contracts for the same or similar items and other references (including contract numbers, points of contact with telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, and other relevant information). Please e-mail questions to Mr. Evans no later than 2:00 PM Eastern on 31 January 2016. Questions received after that time/day may not be answered.
