Description

DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The Department of Veterans Affairs is contemplating issuing a solicitation resulting in award of a single contract to provide executive development training. The successful offeror would be responsible for designing an executive development training to support improving business operations and accelerating organizational transformation efforts. This course would accomplish these goals by developing and enhancing each participant s ability to make strategic decisions, think critically, and lead organizational change. The program would include faculty instruction, practical exercises, computer simulations, and action learning in the form of strategic challenge questions. The goal of this training would be to create a core skillset across the population of individuals completing this course. The primary focus would be on improving business operations and transformation strategy by honing and developing strategic decision-making, critical thinking, and leading change skills. Training courses will be six days in length. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gather market information and capability statements pertinent for acquisition planning. The responses to this Sources Sought Notice will enable the Contracting Officer to determine the most appropriate method of procuring these services and identify parties having interest and resources to support this requirement. TASK AREAS INCLUDE: Executive Training/Program Curriculum; Full-Service Facility; Anonymous Electronic Pre-Course and Module Assessments; Administrative Services; and Change Management Simulation. SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This Sources Sought Notice does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this Sources Sought Notice is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice are restricted to accredited Colleges and Universities. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please respond to this Sources Sought as follows: Cover Sheet - 1 page 1. Organization name, address, DUNS number, and web site. 2. Point of contact to include e-mail address and telephone number. 3. Type of business (as listed in SAM.gov). 4. If applicable, GSA contract number, schedule, and SIN category. Capabilities Statement and Market Information - no more than five pages Please respond to the following questions by providing a capabilities statement and market information: Please describe your experience working with Government agencies. Specifically, what processes do you have in place to submit a timely and quality proposal? Please describe your organization's breadth of expertise/competency in providing executive training curriculums? Would you be interested in proposing on a solicitation for this work? Please provide estimated pricing information for available training packages, including those with lodging and meals. Please provide any other feedback or suggestions that you deem appropriate.
