- Sources Sought Notice (SSN) #170513 This Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is posted for INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. IT IS OUR INTENT TO STREAMLINE THE ACQUISITION PROCESS BY USING A MULTIPLE AWARD IDIQ CONTRACT ACCESSIBLE TO CMS, SUCH AS THE NITAAC CIO-SP3, GSA ALLIANT, ETC. WE ARE SPECIFICALLY REQUESTING THAT INTERESTED SMALL BUSINESS VENDORS HOLDING SUCH REFERENCED CONTRACTS SUBMIT CAPABILITY STATEMENTS, BUT WE ARE ACCEPTING CAPABILITY STATEMENTS FROM ALL INTERESTED SMALL BUSINESS VENDORS. It will be used to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of small business (e.g.: 8(a), small disadvantaged business, veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small businesses, women-owned small businesses, and small business) to provide the services described herein. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will use the information received to determine if the work described herein will be set-aside for small business. Based upon the results of the review of the respondent's capability, CMS may set the work aside for a specific type of small business (i.e. HubZone, WOSB, SDB, VOSB, or 8(a), small business, or determine the work should be competed on an unrestricted basis. The purpose of this market research is to identify the availability and capability of qualified small business that can assist in development, maintenance, and operation services to support the Legislative IT Lifecycle Support (LILS), obtain IT solutions that cover the initiation, planning, integration, design, development, testing, and operational services to support the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). All efforts on this contract shall be performed in accordance with CMS requirements and shall meet the objectives of increasing efficiency and effectiveness of data processing operations and timely implementation of statutory and regulatory requirements.
