Description
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The solicitation number is N00189-17-T-0111 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-95 and DFARS Change Notice 20161222. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns under NAICS code 332618 and the Small Business Standard of 500 employees. Line Item 0001: the NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center - Norfolk requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: Various flight deck safety nets. Three (3) EACH NR 1 LIFT PLATFORM. Three (3) EACH NR 1 LIFT PLATFORM. Five (5) EACH MID SHIP CARGO PLATFORM. Three (3) EACH MID SHIP CARGO PLATFORM. Delivery: FOB Destination. Ship to: Supply Officer, USS Carter Hall LSD-50, 1320 Barnstable Country Road, BLDG 3090, Virginia Beach, VA 23460. Period of Performance: Required Delivery by 24 FEB 2017. Site Visit: A site visit shall be held prior to receipt of offers to allow all perspective contractors to view and inspect the job site. All interested contractors shall attend the site visit in order to determine exact measurements. Site visit will take place on 2 February 2017, from 0800-1200. The location will be the USS Carter Hall LSD-50 located on Naval Station Norfolk, Norfolk, VA, 23511. EXACT PIER TO BE DETERMINED. In order to attend site visits, contractors shall convene at the above location at 08:00 AM EST on 2 February 2016. Attendees should allow extra time to arrive due to delays in passing through security. Due to base security requirements, failure to make a reservation may prohibit a contractor from attending site surveys. Contractors are limited to two (2) representatives for the site survey.
