- This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION/SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT and is issued for INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. This is not a SOLICITATION. This is NOT a request for proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to evaluate or purchase any goods or services. The Government will not reimburse for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information or materials furnished in response to this sources sought notice. Information received as a result of this notice will become part of our market research and used to determine interest and capability of potential sources. Proprietary information will be protected to the full extent provided by law. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Joint Base MDL, New Jersey is seeking information about a potential manufacturers of existing V-22 Operational Test Program Sets (OTPSs) for the CMV22 platform, to include support for the production of the existing OTPSs is for the Intermediate Level (I-Level) Maintenance which interface with the CASS Family of Testers (CASS FoT), to include the newly developed eCASS Automated Test Station, as well as each OTPS's associated Weapons Repairable Assemblies (WRAs) or Units Under Test(UUTs). The production tasks require an indepth technical knowledge of the functions, operation, and testing requirements of numerous aircraft systems within the V-22, how they interface with other aircraft systems, and the support equipment developed to test them. The Government does not have production level drawings or the ability to supply sample UUTs for verifying the acceptance test plan performance. Potential suppliers would require adequate knowledge, skills, or abilities to produce and test parts unique to the V-22 Osprey. If you believe that you have the ability to produce specific OTPS units, please respond to this RFI and identify your capabilities and relevant experience. Any firm that would like to provide a capability statement under this RFI, please send your responses to the Point of Contact (POC) no later than 9 February, 2017.
