Description
SSA SOW Agreement Solicitation Scope of Work related to SSA Long Island City office Statement of work : SSA requests to remove a private interview room and install a barrier window in its place. Project entails, removing existing walls of private interview room. Constructing (continuation) of barrier wall with window glass. Electrical outlets, LAN, panic button, NORCOM system, lighting, etc will need to be moved to accommodate barrier wall. HVAC will need to be moved as well as fire sprinklers. Successful bidder will need to determine if HVAC balancing is needed. Carpet tiles will need to be installed to match existing on employee side and vinyl tile on public side. All finishes to be same as surrounding barrier wall. All architectural plans/drawings, permitting and inspections will be the responsibility of the successful bidder. Successful bidder will need to provide a one year warranty on work and finishes associated with this project. SSA is requesting to have work completed after hours and on weekends to minimize disruption to their daily mission. Office must be cleaned daily prior to the opening of the SSA office. Employees begin to arrive for work at 6am. Therefore all construction needs to stop at a time that will allow ample time to clean and safeguard the construction area. The construction area will also need to be secured so that non-SSA personnel will not be able to pass through and gain access to the employee side of the barrier wall. The successful bidder will need to mobilize and begin work on this project within two weeks of the award of the contract. Project completion expected approximately two months from start to finish.
