Description
Statement of Work (SOW) INSTALLATION - Replacement of Sodium Hypoclorinate Storage Tanks at Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Project Number: XXXXXXXXX Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico 15 Jan 2017 OBJECTIVES: The objective of this work is for the replacement of four 1,500 gallon Silo type Sodium Hypoclorinate Storage Tanks in building 4082 at the WWTP. Replacement of the four tanks shall be manufactured of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) with a 1.9 or better Specific Gravity. A ball valve shall be installed at the bottom of the tank, and will include a 6" to 12" chemical resistant flexible hose connected to all new ¾" piping from each of the four tanks to the dispensing pumps. The four tanks and the ¾" piping shall be compatible with 12.5% Sodium Hypoclorinate Solution. Contractor may be required to transfer Sodium Hypoclorinate from one or more tanks to facilitate installation of all four tanks. Contractor shall be responsible for any hazardous spills. There is no electrical or water installation associated with this project. Contractor shall be responsible for the removal and disposal of the four old tanks and all old piping. Contractor shall be required to coordinate with the personnel at the WWTP to accomplish this. The WWTP is a critical operation at Cannon AFB and must remain functioning 24 hours a day. Contractor shall provide all parts, labor and equipment to complete this contract. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Period of work shall be 45 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). Upon the Contractor's request, the Government will provide electronic and/or hard copies of available documents and correspondences pertinent to the work. GOVERNMENT OCCUPANCY: The Government will occupy the area where the Contractor is to perform work. The Contractor shall schedule and perform the work so as not to interfere with the Government's operations. The Contractor shall cooperate fully with the Government during construction operations to minimize conflicts and to facilitate Government usage. BASE ACCESS: Access onto and across the WWTP shall be as directed by the Government. Employee parking shall be as directed by the Contracting Officer (CO). Also, the Government may impose restrictions regarding methods and points of Contractor access in order to maintain orderly operation of the area during the installation period. AVAILABILITY OF UTILITY SERVICES: The Contractor may use Government utilities in the vicinity of the project area. The Contractor shall not be wasteful of the utilities and the Government reserves the right to assess the Contractor for utility use upon discovery of negligence with respect to utility usage. All temporary lines shall be maintained by the Contractor in a workmanlike manner satisfactory to the CO and shall be removed by the Contractor in like manner prior to final acceptance of the work performed. DELIVERABLES: The following must be provided to the designated Contracting Officer (CO) and Program Manager (PM): a. Project Schedule: Within 7 calendar days of Notice to Proceed, provide a legible project schedule in printed or PDF format for design services to include dates of anticipated site visits, proposed team meetings, and other milestone dates. b. Operation and Maintenance Manuals: Contractor shall provide to the Contract Officer Representative (COR) all O&M Manuals including all warranties, vendor contacts, relevant product data including proper maintenance and operation, describing all installed materials, systems and equipment in the project. Manuals must be organized by CSI specification sections.
