- This is a market survey for planning purposes only and no award will be made as a result of this Request For Information (RFI) to identify interested sources. Funding is not available at this time. Submitting your company information does not bind the Air Force for any future solicitations or contracts resulting from this RFI. Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, NV requests product suggestions and availability of products from companies for the purpose of identifying potential sources for parachute harnesses and accessories. The 99th Contracting Squadron has a requirement for the following items: CLIN 0001: Four (4) Equipment harness, PN: GCI-EH-2.0 (TT-600 equipment harness) Equipment harness w/four quick attach/release points and a single point equipment release point, compatible with parachute systems equipped with four equipment/cargo attachment points. Harness can be used with high mount equipment attachment points as well as with conventional (under the handles) equipment attachment points. CLIN 0002: Four (4) Side panel, weapon & O2, PN: GCI-SP-M16O2-2.0 Zip on side panel w/belly band, compatible with left side 14in zipper on SOV3-HH (8-ring) parachute system. Panel holds an M-16 weapon detachable with a quick release handle and has a multipurpose utility pouch compatible with the Harris 152 radio. Included with the panel is a detachable Oxygen bottle pouch compatible with the twin bottle set up by Conax Flordia Corp. PN: 8620028-1 and twin bottle set up by American Safety Flight Systems PN: 8320015-1 or compatible systems. Oxygen bottle pouch can also be used separately with a standard belly band. Similar options will be reviewed and considered. The findings from this Market Research effort may impact future solicitations related to this requirement. This RFI for Sources Sought is not a solicitation as defined by FAR 2.101, and the Government is not requesting offers or proposals at this time. Responses to this Request for Information will not form a binding contract. If a solicitation is issued, the Government does not guarantee that it will be issued to RFI respondents. The Government is also requesting that restrictive or proprietatry markings or information not be used in response to this RFI. The contemplated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 314999 (Size Standard: 500 EMP). The Government contemplates awarding a firm-fixed price purchase order.
