RFP: VA786-17-R-0194 A00002 This amendment is to correct the Site Visit note on page 7 of the original solicitation. *SITE VISIT: Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect all sites where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance. In no event shall failure to inspect a one or all sites constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. A visit to the site for bidders is scheduled for February 9, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. EST.; at the cemetery. Bidders must confirm with the COR or authorized designee of the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery before visit. If you plan to conduct a site visit / inspection of Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, YOU MUST CONTACT one of the following personnel to make arrangements:* All Terms and conditions are to remain the same. Project Location: 3 LOCATIONS: Indiantown Gap National Cemetery - Indiantown Gap Road, Annville, Pa. 17003 Beverly National Cemetery - RD # 1 Bridgeboro Road, Beverly, NJ 08010 Philadelphia National Cemetery - Haines St. & Limekiln Pike, Philadelphia, Pa. 19138 Service: TREE SERVICES DESCRIPTION: This solicitation is for 2 separate purchase request: Purchase Request #1: The Indiantown Gap National Cemetery - Furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, tools, materials and supplies necessary to remove one hundred fifty (150) dead or dying trees identified by the cemetery foreman, grind stumps (where requested) and remove all associated debris (see Indiantown Gap National Cemetery SOW for details.) SITE VISIT: Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect site where service is to be performed to verify the work involved and satisfy them regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance. In no event shall failure to inspect the sites constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. A visit to the site for bidders is scheduled for February 9, 2017 at 10:00 a.m EST. Bidders must confirm with the COR or authorized designee of the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery before visit. (717) 865-5254 Facsimile # (717) 865-5256 Purchase Request #2: Washington Crossing National Cemetery Complexes (Beverly & Philadelphia National Cemetery) The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, materials and supplies necessary to provide tree pruning, removal and stump grinding services. Performance includes removal of twenty three (23) trees, pruning of six (6) trees and the subsequent removal of all associated debris, grinding of associated tree stumps to appropriate depth, removal of all debris, backfill with clean topsoil, level / seed and grade (Beverly National Cemetery). Removal of thirteen (13) trees, pruning of subsequent removal of all associated debris, grinding of associated tree stumps to appropriate depth, removal of all debris, backfill with clean topsoil, level / seed and grade, pruning of seven (7) trees and removal of all associated debris as well as pruning of overgrowth off of cemetery fence in two separate locations (Philadelphia National Cemetery). (See Washington Crossing Complex s SOW) SITE VISIT: Beverly & Philadelphia National Cemetery are satellite cemeteries under supervision of the Director and staff of the Washington Crossing National Cemetery which is located in Newtown, Bucks County, Pa. Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect all sites where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance. In no event shall failure to inspect a one or all sites constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. A visit to both sites for bidders is scheduled for February 8, 2017 at 10:00 a.m EST.; starting at the Philadelphia National Cemetery and travel to Beverly National Cemetery after. Bidders must confirm with the COR or authorized designee of the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery before visit.
