Thank you Title: Replacement of the Motor Control Center (MCC), Manchester, NH The General Services Administration (GSA) New England Region, Acquisition Branch is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision for the Replacement of the Motor Control Center (MCC), Manchester, NH This procurement is a 100% Total small business Set-aside. The estimated cost is between $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. The NAICS code is 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors. The Small Business Size standard is $15 MILLION. Contractors are required to provide for the project scope which includes replacement of the Motor Control Center (MCC) located in the penthouse, installation of a new 800A Distribution Panel, two new MCC sections for normal and emergency loads. Additionally, the existing automatic transfer switch, ATS-2, is to be removed and replaced. The functions of ATS-2 shall be incorporated into the replacement MCC. The project scope requires temporary power to be supplied to the existing critical loads Currently being served by the subject MCC while it is being removed and replaced with the new MCC. The scope will require a partial building shutdown for the temporary power connection. All shutdown work is to be performed after hours and coordinated with the GSA. The solicitation will be released on or about December 30, 2016, with bids due date on or about January 31, 2017. A pre-bid site visit is scheduled for on or about January 11, 2017 at 1:00PM. The period of performance is estimated to be approximately 180 calendar days and the completion of work is anticipated to be about September 3, 2017. Technical documents will be available through the secure website via a direct link from FEDBIZOPPS. Bidders are responsible for printing the IFB and all related documents. It is also the bidder's responsibility to monitor this site for release of the IFB, and amendments and any related information.
