Description
The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) is conducting market research for an innovated upstream adult fish passage system for Cle Elum Dam. The principal components of work would include: The Bureau of Reclamation would like to study and evaluate Sockeye migration with a volitional innovative passage transport system over Cle Elum Dam. Reclamation is seeking alternative methods to transport fish upstream. Technology is being studied to determine if there is a viable adult passage option that could provide a significant saving in infrastructure cost and/or O&M annual expenditures compared to traditional adult passage facilities. Traditional systems such as fish ladders, and trap and haul systems are not acceptable for this study. Period of Performance May 1, 2017 to October 31, 2018. Please review the attached draft statement of objectives for the requirements. The intent of this notice is to identify potential contractors to provide an innovated upstream adult fish passage system for Cle Elum Dam. Interested offerors are invited to submit the following information: Statement of interest as a prime and/or subcontractor Point of contact information Size status and/or SBA certification program for NAICS 541330 Information on your innovative technology ability to move fish upstream over a dam. This market research is for informational purposes only. This announcement does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement action will be issued, and shall not be construed as a Request for Quote, or as an obligation on the part of the Government. No entitlement to payment will arise as a result of the submission of contractor information.
