THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (a) The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Sources Sought or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Must be compatible with the VA system VistA (Anatomic Pathology Package), leaving the current workflow and other VistA processes unchanged Headsets must be standard office size use headsets and must have noise cancelling microphones controlled by foot pedals, which will increase productivity and accuracy. Must have Software to be installed on existing personal computers and will provide complete project management through the installation process Vendor shall provide personalized user training and support through the initial installation process as well as same day telephone and remote support Vendor shall help in the installation of hardware, software, customization, and training to support the pathologists and residents Voice recognition software shall have auto writes capability to VistA Anatomic Pathology Package in order to issue pathology reports written about pathology specimens such as biopsies and surgical resections because we do not currently have the personnel to type reports Must allow Pathology staff to dictate reports using speech recognition and templating features including structured cancer synoptic reporting templates in accordance with the College of American Pathologists to keep the department within compliance. Must update automatically with changes made to cancer synoptic reporting tables as published on the website of the College of American Pathologists. The program must automatically format reports as needed in the VistA Editor. This program must allow users to dictate (hands free) entirely in real time while grossing specimens The program must allow for longer free text notes. The program must provide shared departmental templates in addition to personal templates per pathologist. The program must be used for speech-based macros for rapid entry of repetitive texts.
