- A market survey is being conducted to determine industry capabilities to perform the services described in the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement. This request for information also seeks to determine the availability of vendors from various socio-economic small business categories. In accordance with FAR Part 19, if there are a reasonable number of interested socio-economic small business concerns it may be possible to set this requirement aside for their exclusive participation. This requirement is for field wire checks of project drawings, CAD renderings of those drawings, Electrical Engineering Services for validation of accurate control schematics, and the creation of usable Station O&M Manuals. A multiple-award IDIQ contract is anticipated. Fair opportunity would then be provided to awardees to compete for subsequent task orders. Contract capacity is anticipated to be $1M a year for a base plus two option year period of performance. Response to this sources sought with the attached information is requested by 22 February 2017 at 10:00 AM Pacific Standard Time. Responses should include: 1. Contractor's Name, DUNS Number, and CAGE Code 2. Brief description or examples of experience performing wire checks on critical power systems. 3. Brief description or examples of experience writing and updating station operations and maintenance manuals, and evidence of an understanding of the critical nature of these documents. 4. Brief description of experience with USACE EM-385, and quality control processes. Feel free to include example projects completed in the past five (5) years where your firm served as the prime contractor or as a subcontractor responsible for these aspects of the project. Project should include the name, title, project role, e-mail address, and telephone number of a reference. References may be used to verify project size, scope, dollar value, percentages and quality of performance. Please email responses, and direct any questions, to the buyer listed on this announcement. This is NOT a Request for Proposal and does not constitute any commitment by the Government. Responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this market survey.
