Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Iowa City VA Health Care System (ICVAHCS), is seeking potential sources to provide Gynecology Services onsite at the VA. All contract physician(s) shall be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Gynecology. The contractor must be present at the VA facility and must be performing the required services from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Mondays and Thursdays, for the period specified in the contract. An additional two (2) hours of administrative time is required each week. The contractor shall provide one (1) female board certified/board eligible gynecologist for any female veteran that has been diagnosed with Military Sexual Trauma (MST) or prefers to see a female provider. It is estimated that one in four female veterans have experienced MST. The NAICS code for this requirement is 621111 Size standard is $11.0 Million. This is a sources sought notice only. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Responses to this notice should include the following: name and address of company; business size (large or small); identify whether or not firm falls into any of the socioeconomic categories and any pertinent information which demonstrates firms ability to meet the above requirement. All responses shall be submitted in writing no later than 5pm EST February 15, 2017 to Sandra McAnany at Sandra.mcanany@va.gov.
