The new pump station will be installed while the existing pump station is in operation and, once activated, the old pump station will be demolished. This project is the sixth and last phase of an extensive effort to repair KSC's 50+ year old water and waste water system. The pump station is the final piece of the phased design package to bring the KSC water and waste water systems up to code and avoid major unplanned outages due to component failures. The new pump station will improve water pressure throughout the KSC water system, as well as provide better reliability of the system. This project will improve the water age and quality of potable water in the system. Installation of meters is instrumental to managing water usage and helps establish accurate charging protocols for tenants.
