Description
The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN), Michigan is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to identify sources from which to remanufacture spare parts for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System (BFVS). The item part number(s) (PN), National Stock Number(s) (NSN) and nomenclature(s) and are as follows: PN NSN Nomenclature 12956545 5977-01-458-4322 Ring Assembly, Electrical Contact The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify qualified vendors that have the knowledge and the ability to manufacturer the item(s) listed above without a Government provided Technical Data Package (TDP) and with limited government technical direction. Vendors must be able to supply the labor, parts, materials, equipment and services to produce the item(s) with deliveries estimated to begin in 210 days after contract award Interested vendors shall provide the following: 1. General Information a. Company Name: b. Address: c. Company Web Site: d. CAGE Code: e. Size of company: Type of company (large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, etc.) In order to show that they can properly produce the item(s) listed above, vendors must provide ACC-WRN with documents that prove at least one of the following: 2. The vendor has access to the latest proprietary technical data from the Bradley Prime Contractor, or a Bradley Subcontractor who designed or previously produced the item(s) for use on the BFVS. 3. The vendor has access to Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) in accordance with Performance Specification for the Slip Ring Assembly for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle (M2A3/M3A3) System 19200-12976431 Revision C. 4. The vendor may reverse engineer and test the Slip Ring Assembly at no cost to the Government. All information in response to this Sources Sought Notice shall be submitted at no cost to ACC-WRN. This Sources Sought Notice shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP), Invitation for Bid, Request for Quotation or an obligation on the part of ACC-WRN. If a formal RFP is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. ACC-WRN will utilize the information submitted by respondents for planning purposes only and will keep this information in confidence.
