Description

This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is VA257-17-Q-0400. This acquisition is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. The associated North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 541350 with a small business standard of $7.5M. This acquisition is solicited as a set-aside for service disabled veteran owned small business. Network Contracting Office 17 requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing the following: Period of performance: Base year with four (4) one year option periods. The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, labor, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and all other items necessary required to perform semi-annual and annual elevator inspections as well as 3-year load test and 5-year safety test of thirty-five (35) traction elevators, seven (7) hydraulic elevators, and three (3) dumbwaiters located at VA North Texas Health Care System (VANTHCS), 4500 S Lancaster Rd, Dallas, TX 75216 providing a written report within thirty (30) days of each inspection in accordance with the following codes: The latest edition of the American National Standard Safety Code for Elevators, Dumbwaiters, Escalators, and Moving Walks ANSI A 17.1 The latest edition of American National Standard Safety Code for Inspection of Elevators, Inspectors Manual, A17.1 Administrative Rules of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, 16 Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 74 HOURS OF WORK Routine work under this contract shall be performed during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday excluding Federal holidays unless the Associate Chief Engineer for Maintenance and Operation (ACE/M&O) or his designee approves schedules other than normal duty hours.
