- The Amarillo VA Health Care System (AVAHCS) is seeking Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) sources capable of meeting the requirement listed below. The acquisition will be accomplished using commercial item procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. NOTE: TO QUALIFY SDVOSB AND VOSB VENDORS MUST BE CERTIFIED IN THE VA VENDOR INFORMATION PAGES (VIP) DATABASE. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334513. Any SDVOSB or VOSB firms who wish to identify their interests and capability to provide this product must provide product specifications, performance and delivery information by notifying the Contract Specialist no later than NOON PM Central Time, February 13, 2017. Notification shall be e-mailed to Lula Hill, at lula.hill3@va.gov. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation, responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Notice. SCOPE: PROJECT LOCATION: The Thomas E. Creek VA Health Care System located in Amarillo, Texas is currently has on hand an automated Temperature Monitoring System that is being serviced by Medical Resources. The facility is currently utilizing these services and the company is monitoring temperature levels throughout the hospital for critical patient care refrigerators and storage locations. This is a critical service due to the ever changing temperature and humidity problem we have in Amarillo. The system was bought in 2008 and in 2010 finally able to get the system working correctly. This program is to meet the FDA guidelines and be in compliant with Joint Commission requirements. REQUIREMENTS: The contractor must provide 24 hour monitoring and maintenance services, with instantaneous updates to temperature ranges and must respond within 24 hours to hardware or software failures. SUMMARY OF WORK: ACCESS TO WORK SITE: The contractor will contact the Contracting Officers Technical Representative (COTR) for access hours. Normal work hours for the Amarillo VA are 8:00am to 4:30pm. There will be no weekend duties or overtime approved. CONTRACTOR FURNISHED MATERIAL: There will be no requirement for furnished materials. SPECIFIC TASKS: A. The general outline of work to be performed includes, but is not limited to the following items: 1. Equipment: The contractor will ensure that all sensors and repeaters are working properly. The servers will be upgraded as necessary for operations. Service Information: The contractor will confirm these descriptions of services with the COTR. The COTR will be able to confirm or make adjustments to any of the following descriptions of services. Service to include: The following tasks are typical of the service needed: Extended warranty for replacement of hardware for damaged items Extended Software warranty Unlimited telephone support Unlimited support VIA approved VPN access Unlimited remote web support Automatic software updates Unlimited training Monthly Flash reports Tests Testing: N/A Service and/or Maintenance (if required): Neopost will service their equipment. Schedule: All work is to be accomplished during normal business hours, unless it can be remote in through VPN. EXECUTION: All work shall be performed in a safe and efficient manner. Site Clean-up: The Contractor shall clean job site and dispose of all debris appropriately off grounds. Cleaning shall be to the satisfaction of the Contracting Officer or the Contracting Officer s Technical Representative. Any areas of work or adjacent areas disturbed shall be restored to original conditions with all associated costs. Final Inspection: The contractor will confirm with the COTR and perform a final inspection prior to them leaving the grounds.
