- Page 1 of 1 The Buffalo VA Medical Center 3495 Bailey Ave. Buffalo, New York and the Batavia VA Medical Center 222 Richmond Avenue, Batavia, New York have a requirement to update the facilities Automated Engineering Management System/Medical Equipment Reporting System (AEMS/MERS) data base and transfer the updated database to the MAXIMO system, the Department of Veterans Affairs replacement of AEMS/MERS Tasks shall include the following: Creation of a numbering system to identify all entries into AEMS/MERS Inventory of all building service equipment and space utilization for both the Buffalo and Batavia VA Medical Centers Affix identification labels on all spaces and devices in accordance with the numbering system Enter collected data into AEMS/MERS Review Preventive maintenance procedures for the Building Service Equipment per recommend by the equipment manufacture and develop preventative maintenance schedule and procedures for all building service equipment located at the VAMC campus in Buffalo and Batavia. Procedures will be either loaded in AMES/MERS or MAXIMO during the transition period. Provide business/engineering work flow practices recommendations on work control program in order to optimization the utilization of MAXIMO. Use the current maintenance staffing, hospital personnel structure and infrastructure as a basis for recommended improvements. Contractor personnel conducting data entry shall be required to pass a background investigation and obtain PIV cards for the duration of the project. The NAICS Code is 541990. The expected cost range for this firm fixed price purchase order is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. This sources sought is to determine whether there is sufficient interest to warrant either an open market or a small business set aside competition for this procurement.. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the Buffalo and Batavia VA MC. Please note at least 50 percent of the cost of personnel for contract performance shall be spent for employees of the concern for a proposal to be considered for a small business set-aside.
