Description

VAMC Fayetteville, Fayetteville, North Carolina intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price contract to lease mailroom equipment. VISN 6 is outfitted throughout with Pitney Bowes equipment and for standardization purposes, the remaining Fayetteville Healthcare systems will continue to use Pitney Bowes mailroom equipment. This will be a one year contract with 4-12 month option periods. This requirement is intended for award to: Pitney Bowes, INC, 3001 Summer St., Stamford, CT 06926-4317, under the authority 6.302-1. The North American Industry Classification System for this acquisition is 532420, small business size standard: 1,000 employees. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. However, the government will consider all responses received within 3 days of publication (February 10, 2017). A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Questions shall be submitted electronically to benetta.northern@va.gov. Question shall be submitted in writing NLT COB 2/10/2017. Verbal and telephonic inquiries will not be accepted.
