Description
Base Bid: The scope includes all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to abate all ceiling mold, apply biocide to those areas on the ceiling affected by mold, remove all chipped, peeling or deteriorated lead paint on the ceiling and beams, prime and encapsulate all ceiling elements with a lead-encapsulating fungal inhibiting paint. Lead, mold and asbestos hazards are present in this space. Assume all paint in the space contain lead and all textured & flat walls/ceiling contains asbestos. Option One consist of wall repair, encapsulation and painting. Period of Performance: Award is anticipated to be made in early April 2017. The overall period of performance for the base bid is estimated to be 5 weeks and 1.5 weeks for Option One, with work on-site construction being 24 April 2017 through 8 June 2017. The Academy has a comprehensive construction schedule as all work must be completed during the period when no classes are being conducted. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562910, with a small business size standard of 750 Employees. The estimates value of the procurement is between $100,000 and $200,000. Performance and/or Payment bonds will be required. The acquisition is issued pursuant to FAR 14. Pursuant to FAR Part 19.5 Small Business set-aside procedures, this solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. Our office no loner issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
