Description

This amendment is to post answers to questions posed by potential contractors. Is a trailer required to be on the dock at Biloxi VAMC at all times? Answer; Yes. The truck will be unloaded and loaded throughout the day. Is a trailer required to be on the dock at NLR VAMC at all times? Answer; Yes. The truck will be unloaded and loaded throughout the day. Can VA staff receive deliveries at Biloxi before 6:00 AM?   If so, can they receive a load at 1:00 AM? Answer; VA staff is not required to receive. You may drop off the truck at any hour of the day. Can VA staff receive deliveries at NLR before 9:00 AM?   If so, can they receive a load at 1:00 AM? VA staff is not required to receive. Answer; You may drop off the truck at any hour of the day. If delivery times are adjusted, will there be a contract modification when additional personnel and/or equipment is required? Answer; If the successful offeror can justify that any change in schedule significantly impacts them due to an increase in costs, then the VA will negotiate a modification to the contract. What does the 410.00 quantity unit number represent? The quantity 410.00 is the estimated number of trips to transport the linen. From North Little Rock, AR to Biloxi, MS is considered one trip. From Biloxi, MS to North Little Rock, AR is considered a trip.
