Description

The U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA)required the purchase of Michigan Instruments, Inc. proprietary calibration equipment/proprietary software and training which will be conducted on location at the Michigan Instruments facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. All equipment will be delivered to USAMMA's Medical Maintenance Operations Division depot located in Tracy, California. The items included in this Purchase Order are custom built by Michigan Instruments and as the manufacturer, Michigan Instruments, Inc. is the only source for the proprietary calibration equipment which uses proprietary software. The attached redacted Sole Source Justification includes the details of the market research and reasoning for limiting competition based on the authority at FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).
