Description
DLA MARITIME - PUGET SOUND intends to issue a solicitation for the procurement of trackrunner cofferdam containment, 40 oz, fire retardant, 40,323 SF to be negotiated on a sole source basis with Tarp Innovators, Inc. per FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a firm fixed price (FFP) type commercial purchase order. This requirement will utilize low price technically acceptable evaluation factors in determining the successful offer. The FOB will be DESTINATION Bremerton, WA. 98314 It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on or about 09 February 2017 The RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link at https://neco.navy.mil and will also be available for download at http://fedbizops.gov/. The closing date of the solicitation will be 15 days from posting. OFFERORS WISHING TO SUBMIT AN OFFER ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DOWNLOADING THEIR OWN COPY OF THE RFQ from the aforementioned websites and to frequently monitor those sites for any amendments. A bidders list will not be maintained by this office, NO TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE RFQ PACKAGE WILL BE ACCEPTED. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render vendor offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same. FIRMS INTERESTED IN SUBMITTING PROPOSALS MUST: (1) complete the CLIN pricing, (2) COMPLETE ENTIRE SOLICITATION DOCUMENT to include representations and certifications, provisions and clauses, (3) provide all product technical specification documentation and technical compliance certifications, and (4) ensure current registration in the SAM system at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/sam.
