- This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Belvoir, Virginia, intends to issue a solicitation to provide for the ordering an supply of chemicals to the Boiler Plant, Incinerator Plant, Power Plants, Cooling Towers, Water Treatment Plant, Pools & Steam Sterilization Plant in an expedient, stabilized, steadfast fashion ensuring chemicals are always in supply and available to carry out the daily missions as specified in the SOW for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW), Garrison Fort Detrick, MD. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for this requirement. The anticipated period of performance for this acquisition is 28 March 2017 through 27 March, 2022, with four (4), 1-year option periods. This acquisition is full and open competition. The assigned National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 325998. MICC - Fort Belvoir anticipates issuing the Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about mid-February 2017. The closing date for submission of proposals will be contained in the RFP. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management Maintenance database prior to award of a government contract, http://www.sam.gov/.
